Verizon Wireless - Verizon charging me for 2 "Phantom" phone lines
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- I have always felt that what I was paying each month seemed more than what it should have been...after numerous calls to help me figure this out...it was always a "dead end" by the way, I discovered that they were charging me monthly access to 2 phone numbers that were NEVER used. When I asked for a copy of a contract that I signed for those numbers, they could not produce them. After getting nowhere with them on this issue over the phone, I wrote them demanding that they refund all of those monthly charges, some going back as far as 2006. Well, they must hate letters, because once again they refused, but only let me know by a "phone message".
I intend to bring this to the attention of the BBB and am slowly FIRING them by closing my broadband wireless card. They say that they can't stop billing me for the 2 Phantom lines until I go through their proper closing procedure. ( I am still paying for those simply because I am holding out that someday soon I will figure out a way to bring them to justice!)
