General Motors - They can't help the disabled
MICHIGAN -- I own a 2003 Chevy s10 p/u. I called customer assistance to help me fix my p/u. I'm disabled, unable to work. social security disability monthly funds prevent me from saving money. The transfer case needs to be fixed, oil leaks, HVAC control not working, stuck on vent mode, light on instrument cluster stays on all the time/even when key is off, rear main seals might be leaking, oil pan leaking, fluids getting dark. it took customer assistance 4 days to tell me they can't help me fix my p/u. reason, the age of p/u, no warranty it only has 78000 mile on it well below national average and less then 10000 mile a year on it. my p/u and blazers have service bulletins on most of my problems in which some should have been recalls. we the people bailed GM out with millions of dollars, they spend millions in advertising, they sponsor nascar and indy racing, they can't spend 3000 to help me out. they offered me a 500 dollar discount on a new vehicle. how can I afford a new one when I can't afford to fix the one I own now. boycott GM for not helping people that really need it.
