Nordstrom - Poor shirt quality
Nordstrom Traditional Dress Shirt - Complaint

DALLAS, TEXAS -- Nordstrom used to make one of the better dress shirts. They had shirt tails that were long enough to stay tucked in. I just bought 6 new Nordstrom (brand) shirts and the shirt tails are extremely short. Obviously they've changed the product, probably trying to save money by using less material.
I tried to return the shirts and they wouldn't take them back because they'd been laundered. Like some is going to wear them without laundering them first. That would look tacky with all the creases from being folded.
So I went to Nordstrom.com and added a review for the shirt. It didn't get published. I went back a week later and wrote another review. It didn't get published. Obviously, that's how they keep the high ratings on their website - they don't publish the negative ones like mine.
From someone who used to be a loyal Nordstrom customer, I will never shop there again.

This is a tough one. Once they are laundered they are probably worth 0 to Nordstroms. OTOH, you are a returning customer who was surprised by a change of the product. I can understand the store's point of view, but this is an expensive pill to swallow.

Hindsight is 20/20 but there is a lesson to be learned here. Next time go to the fitting room and try it on first. This avoids the you being unhappy and stuck with the merchandise. I have been burned too many times so I always go to the fitting room before making a purchase.

or for packaged products - try them on before you wash them. Possibly if one had been opened, and the others not - and all not laundered, you might have gotten your return done.
