Holiday Inn Express - Cancellation
SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA -- On or about 2-4-12 I reserved a room for two nights, 8-10 and 8-11-2012. 6 months early. I read thoroughly my on line confirmation which stated cancellation OK through 8-9-12 with no charge. HOWEVER, upon canceling, I was notified I had chosen some sort of "reserve early discount" which does NOT allow for cancellation. Why in the world would I have opted for such a rate knowing well a lot changes in 6 months?
I feel I was bamboozeled and refuse to allow American Express to pay the charge to Holiday Inn. I have been appealing this for over a month now and will continue to do so until Holiday Inn does the right thing. WATCH OUT !!!
