Living room set - Complaint
TEXAS -- We ordered a living-room suite from a catalog in the Midland, TX store and paid with a check. The check cleared before the furniture arrived. When we realized they had sent the wrong suite, we didn't let them leave the furniture. We ask them to reordered the correct suite. When they informed us the furniture was to be delivered the next day, we gave our old furniture away. We were left with nothing in our living room and the furniture never arrived. We ask Ashley's to cancel our order and return our money as we were expecting company and had no place to seat them. The original order was placed on January 30, 2012 and we have called at least once a week and have not gotten any returned calls. We have asked to speak to the legal office and the finance office and were told they would contact us the following day, which has never happened. It is obvious we have been given the run-around which you have perfected. Our only recourse is to contact an attorney and file theft charged if our money isn't received by April 6, 2012.
