TomTom - Don't Send Anything for Repair

AUSTRALIA -- Some weeks ago I contacted TOMTOM about a replacement part as our windscreen mount was faulty and I wanted to purchase a new one and then send the original in for Warranty repair or replacement. Sounds simple enough doesn't it? Well after sending copies of the receipts etc as requested they then suggested I send the mount in for repairs. This was sent Registered Post 3 1/2 weeks ago and still all I am hearing back is they have escalated my repair. Well, if they had sent me a replacement mount and allowed me to pay for it I would not be complaining now as we have NO GPS that we can safely use now and still NO MOUNT and still no idea when we will get it repaired or replaced. I would NEVER buy another TOM TOM Item even if they were the last company on the planet.
