JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY -- I had purchased refills for my wallflower and they did not work. When I went back to the store, the only thing I expected was a replacement on the refills. Instead, they also gave me a new wallflower which contains a refill in it also.

I've never had returns at B&BW, but their companion store, White Barn Candle, is equally fair. This past summer I purchased a candle and when returning to my car, put it in the trunk. I promptly forgot to remove it when I got home. When I discovered it after about 3 weeks of 90 degree plus weather, it was a mess. I took it into the store only for the purpose of being certain I'd buy the exact candle (it was for a December birthday). My surprise when they gave me an exchange--no questions asked. They know how to keep customers happy--I purchased additional candles to the tune of $53.

I know these comments are old, but I just want to encourage people with a good experience to contact the company directly - it reflects much more highly on the employee coming from customer service than it does coming from a manager. I always call in compliments when I've had an awesome experience - most recently at Godiva and Giant Eagle.
