Suddenlink - High Fees for Changes
Complaint
Review by Linda in Texas on 2012-04-05
SANGER, TEXAS -- Suddenlink only has one phone number to call for everything. I called to discontinue the high speed internet service. I was transferred from one person to another for over 30 minutes before I was finished. Then when I got the next bill, I was charged $40.00 for changing my service. At no point was I informed there would be such a large fee for making a change.
I only have social security as my income and I was not prepared for such a large expense. Their fee is double the cost of the service that I discontinued. This is on top of their poor customer service by phone as well as service men that don't complete their work. The last time I had a service man come out I wound up having to call their customer service for them to walk me through completing the adjustments because their repairman left it incomplete.
I would not recomment Suddenlink to anyone, if you have a choice. I don't have a choice because of the decision of my apartments.
