Empire Carpets - Beware of Empire Estimates

ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- Empire came out and gave me an estimate on builders grade carpet and laminate flooring...the cost was $4100.00...since they were the first bid that we received...we told the gentleman "Thank You but you are the first bid and I will check further." He got rather perturbed (and pushy). We stood our ground and he Lashed out, "What if I just drop the price by $1000.00?". He made his little calls to his office to see if it was OK. He came back with $3100.00 and still pushy.
Well we shopped around and had CC'S Carpet install PREMIUM Stainmaster Carpet and REAL Hardwood floors for $300.00 LESS.
SHAME on Empire and their fraudulent sales tactics. I will NEVER consider them EVER again.

if you had read any reviews of Empire this is very standard. They don't offer bids, they offer one stop closers to push you into a decision

They use the same high pressure sales tactics as Window Wizzards, who are now out of business. "This deal is only good for today then the price goes up." "You must make a decision NOW or the deal is done." This unscrupulous company will stop at nothing to get your money. They have duped many unsuspecting people in. By law they have to give you a three day right of rescission so you can cancel. Don't waste your time with these toads.

Thank you so very much for that review. It is always better to go with a local company over Empire. Empire is a bunch of crooks!!
