Mortgage Refinance -"Veteran Fast Track" - Complaint
CHARLOTTE, INDIANA -- Started a refinance with the current first mortgage owner in the middle of January. Bank Of America had made errors on the initial loan agreement which I pointed out to them. The errors were never corrected (my income). The ability to contact anyone in the processing of this application was nearly impossible. The fees that were originally quoted were then raised nearly 100%.
Again the ability to get any communication with the loan officer handling this process was impossible. I would leave emails and voice-mails but no reply. After 90 days the rate lock expired of course and the rates had gone up since January. I am not sure if they have done anything illegal.
