SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- The Days Inn on Laredo Street in San Antonio Texas was given 3 1/2 stars on line. We booked this hotel because the title of it was "Days Inn/Riverwalk." When we arrived on 4/8/2012, we realized that this should of been called Days Inn/Ghetto street. The surrounding area is horrible, and the Riverwalk is 9 miles away. The rooms are very small, and you can barely move the chair away from the desk without hitting the bed. The pool was not clean, and the lounge chairs were broken. The alarm clock didn't work, the room wasn't cleaned properly, and it looked like it took 3-5 minutes to clean the whole room. I assume Helen Keller gave the Days Inn the 3 1/2 stars, but this MOTEL should be given 1 1/2 stars. I guess when you pay $50 per night which includes a discount, you get what you paid for!!!!!

Your last sentence sums up my thoughts exactly. However, did you bring this to the manager's attention while you were there? Was anything done to fix any of this?

It does not matter what you paid for the room, it is ther job to supply you with a clean room.
