CHICAGO, TEXAS -- On December 8, 2011, I ordered four Christmas tee-shirts from SonGear, an online Christian ministry company. While they charged my AmEx account immediately, they never sent my tees. I e-mailed the owner, Bob VanZandt, who apologized for the oversight and promised to mail them asap. After numerous e-mails, phone calls, and Facebook messages, I have had no response; nor have they credited my account. Yesterday, I received an e-mail from a company called Life With Jesus, obviously in cahoots with this same Bob VanZandt, advertising Mother's Day tees. After close inspection, I saw some of the same shirts SonGear sold, the "Life with Jesus is better" ones, and they are made by SonGear. I am at a total loss. AmEx would not handle this because I kept waiting for the shirts, thinking Bob would honor his commitment. 90 days passed before I contacted them.

To get ripped off makes one mad but to get ripped off in the name of Jesus is just too much. Thank you for the heads up.

This is Bob Van Zandt... I am sorry that this happened and I would like to make it right for you.

Your order problems took place during a time of operational problems which were compounded by significant personal tragedy in my life. I will spare you the details.. But I am just now at a point where I have healed enough to start moving SonGear forward again.

We are a small company that only ever had 2 employees, and when my life collapsed, I desperately tried to close up the loose ends, but clearly dropped the ball on a few things, including your service issue.

My heart is sincere, my love for Jesus is genuine, my passion to use this platform to advance God's Kingdom is where I wholeheartedly believe God want's me.

I am proud to now write that Bob wrote me an apology last fall explaining his difficulties at the time. I asked him to send the shirts rather than refund the money which he did promptly. We were able to wear them for the Christmas Eve service.

The products from Life With Jesus have always been first class and, now that Bob is back on his feet, are delivered within a brief time. In fact, I am expecting a delivery anytime.

I'm thankful that Bob is ministering through his company and commend him for explaining and making things right. He has restored my faith in Life With Jesus, and I'm so glad I gave him a second chance.

May God continue to bless Bob, his family, and Life With Jesus.
