CALIFORNIA -- First a little advice, always trust your gut. After spending an hour with the pretty little salesgirl that came into my business to show me how I could save hundreds of dollars on credit card processing, I felt a little wary, but decided to take a chance.
Within a matter of just a few days, I realized I made a big mistake. I was lied to about needing new equipment to take advantage of debit card savings and was sold an overpriced lease which they also guaranteed would be nominal while still earning more profits. The equipment arrived, which they debited their first lease payment immediately out of my account and since then I have not had any satisfaction from their tech support or customer service to install. I now look at that fact as a God-send because through more investigation I've since learned from reputable companies that everything they promised and their business m. o. is borderline fraud. Their customer service is non-existent - I have a feeling it is an answering service taking messages. Every phone number called for this company ended up at the same person.
I have denied them access to my bank account and will fight this one out through the BBB and the Department of Consumer Affairs. Another word of advice - get a recommendation from your trusted banker who to use for this service. They have affiliations with trustworthy, honest companies. Don't switch processors - if the one you're using seems high - get your local salesperson to review your account - they all want your business and will help you get more profits. This is the latest scam being played on small business - turn them away for the sake of peace of mind.
