BUENA VISTA -- My wife and I would like to stay in a Disney hotel for 2 nights on
5/14 - 5/16/12, but because of certain requirements, I don't know if the Disney Value hotels will satisfy our needs, and I can't get help from Disney personnel.

On, or about, 4/7, I had a on-line chat with a male representative. I started by telling the representative the dates we're interested in, that we are FL residents, have a $ limit of about $100 (+ taxes) per night, and since my wife uses a walker, prefer a walk-in shower and need to easily get transportation to Epcot. I asked for a recommendation.

The response I got was a message asking for the dates, and which hotels, I'm interested in. Obviously, no one read my chat, and gave me a standard response.

On 4/8, I sent an email to guest communications, because it was the only email address I could find, and the information implied that I could get help. I asked similar questions, including our dates and requirements caused by my wife's walker. On 4/12, I found a response email ((KMM3718501I15977L0KM) sent on 4/10. It was another form letter, thanking me for sharing my experiences with them, giving a sales pitch, and a phone number to discuss my letter (which I thought included our requirements). I called [snip], DRC Guest Correspondent, at the number given, and was answered with a message that she was not there, and wouldn't be back until Monday, 4/16

I spoke with my daughter, and she was incredulous, that Disney doesn't post a toll free number, or email address, to get hotel information.

Contrary to wha Disney claims as their policy, I'm not finding them to be customer friendly.

Vacation Package Booking
(407) 939-7675

No, it's not toll free but it's a contact #. If you have a cell phone, it should be free

I would call and talk to one of the booking agents. They ladies I have spoken to for our trip in two weeks have been beyond helpful. I did notice the one gentleman I spoke with, he was not as helpful. Call the 407 number listed above and someone should be able to help

You could also try The DIS Boards website

http://www.disboards.com/

They are a forum for people who go to Disney alot. They have a handicapped forum that is very, very good and may be able to answer your questions or point you to the disney department that can.

If you're a FL resident and you have AAA, you can book the trip with them. They will be able to provide you with the information you're seeking.
