Days Inn - A crack house by any other name is still a crack house
maintenance, customer service, bad management - Complaint
ROANOKE, VIRGINIA -- Stayed in Days Inn located a couple of blocks from Roanoke Civic Center off of 460. Have never had a bad experience until this weekend. This Day's Inn was an ideal place to buy drugs or bring a hooker, if they lower their standards.
The first room they put me in had the closet rails ripped out of the wall. The floor was so filthy, I wouldn't remove my shoes. When I say how disgusting the bathroom was, I went to receptionist desk to change rooms. Next room had a closet rack but a dirty towel stopping a water leak in the shower. They sent someone down and he tightened the shower head withoutturning the shower on to test. Well, water came out of the shower head and the faucet filling the tub that did not drain. Told the manager the next morning early. Came back to the room, no maid service and shower was still broken. Drawers were yellow and stained; would not use them. After going to the office repeatedly, they gave me a discount of $5.00. They should not have charged me anything. I have several other issues with this hotel. My club goes back every year, but will never stay at the Days Inn. I travel for the Government often, but will never stay at a Day's Inn anywhere!
