Home Depot - Bath Renovation
LANGHORNE, PENNSYLVANIA -- I first met with Home Depot in early February and selected all of our choices. The first hold up was with getting the representative to the house for measurements. Then we put the order in and 2 weeks later were told that the granite counter top was discontinued. Ordered another which arrived 4 weeks later and was damaged. ordered another which was supposed to come in today April 17th and was told that it will not come in until early May. In the meantime the installer started the project 8 days ago Home Depot promising delivery of the counter top by today. The installer was great but now he must return in another 3 weeks to finish the job. This is all in addition to: running out of floor tile and using two wall tiles (all that was left)to finish a closet floor. Using every last bull nose tile. So this means I need to order 3 different tiles just to have on hand in case any are damaged. They delivered the wrong decorative tiles which I could not use and have to return...special ordering the correct ones would have taken another 3 weeks. They delivered the wrong grout so the installer had to purchase the correct one. They did not order the marble floor slab that goes by the entrance to the room. The last think I will mention is that when we first met with the Home Depot designer he said that we would get a 10% discount on all materials and fixtures if ordered by a certain date. Problem was that their measuring representative did not show up in time and I did not get the discount...about $700.00. Management said that there was nothing they could do.
