Sears Appliance Repair - Sears - Not Just Unreliable - But Dishonest
PENNSYLVANIA -- All new Kenmore appliances and we find out the service is unreliable and even insulting. I had to wait three days for an appointment. Then took an entire day off from work because unlike the rest of the world you/they can't even do AM - PM appointments. But that does not matter. On a Friday afternoon the technician was obviously running late. I sat all afternoon on the front porch watching for him. He never called the primary contact - my cell phone which I had in my pocket. He called dispatch and left a message and they called the back up number - too late to make a difference! I checked it for messages at 4:15 PM (having wasted a full day ) and found that he couldn't find us on his GPS. That is a bald lie. We are on every GPS perfect - and he had the correct address. He didn't even call - he had dispatch do it. And by the way - they all have such heavy accents you can't understand them anyway. Then, to make things right they offer an appointment NEXT week. Hello, another week, another lost day of work! Unreliable. Undependable. Dishonest. Every GPS made will take you to my front garden, and there I sat all afternoon watching for him. They did not try to turn him around to finish the job. They did not care that much. He never even went to look for us. He never tried. Just blew off the appointment with a phoney excuse. Never Sears Repair, Never again! If the repair tech is a lazy son of a gun OK, but the office should have turned him around and sent him. They just don't care.
