MORROW, GEORGIA -- I bought used games at game stop they draw up your card number and information without a card but will not change a used defective game without a receipt. They told me the system deletes your information after three weeks. The other store down the road said the store I bought the games from could pull up the information and trade the games out for up to a month with no receipt. Is this bad business or what?

I can't follow your complaint fully, but it seems you want to return a defective game cartridge/DVD without a receipt? That kind of thing is getting more diffiuclt these days. In the future, keep your receipt until you try the game.

You are right this is bad business practice, but it is also carelessness on your behalf. You are partly to blame.

why is it their fault if you forgot to keep the receipt?

it's not like the policy is hidden. it's there in the store and on your receipt. ain't their fault if people don't bother reading it.
