Lowes Home Improvement - Customer Services Sucks
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- Wandered aisles of Lowes location on Charleston Boulevard for TWENTY MINUTES without finding anyone to help me. I stopped clerks, but they said "that's not my department". I finally "pressed the button" for service, and the electrical dept. person clearly let me know he didn't feel like helping me find the part I needed. I started to leave, when a nice older gentleman stopped & asked if I found what I needed. I let him know how disappointed I was in the service, and he took me back to same dept. and helped me find what I needed. NOW THE CLINCHER. I went to a different Lowes near my home two days later (had to go initially to different location to get my item as it was out of stock at one near my house) to return some of those items and was told "WE DON'T CARRY THIS ITEM SO YOU NEED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE LOCATION YOU BOUGHT IT FROM". I rarely lose my temper...but I did. I called for a manager who said same thing, and I said "you WILL NOT tell me to go to another store to return this". I was seething, she saw it....and took back the item. I will NEVER shop in Lowes again. I will tell all my friends not to shop at Lowes. I will pay MORE at Ace, or driver further to Home Depot before I will set foot in another Lowes.
