stacksandstacks.com Complaint - "Easy to Assemble Kitchen Cabinet?"

Review by wildergal on 2005-11-02
I recently bought what was shown as a kitchen cabinet with hutch (item 108506) at the online store stacksandstacks.com. Item was advertised as "simple to assemble." What arrived was a box of planks, 4 pages of instructions with useless diagrams (only 4), and 12 baggies of hardware. One set of screws was missing, along with the "pre-drilled holes" to attach the doors. Finally, the parts were so poorly matched that the back panels are 1/2 inch too hight and none of the adjustable shelves fit properly. No parts can be replaced if item has been in the US more than 9 months, according to the Chinese manufacturer. I posted a detailed review to the stacksandstacks website that simply said what is said here. They never posted it and Customer Service never responded to my complaint. I will never deal with them again.
