TUXEDO RENTAL - Complaint

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- We had a horrible experience with a tuxedo rental from the Joseph A. Bank store at the Green Hills Mall in Nashville TN. We placed our order and clearly instructed them that the tuxes would be picked up in NJ. The woman who waited on us - very slow and spacey - verified the store address and number with us. We repeated this process for the second tux. We arrive at the store in NJ four days before the event to pick up the tuxes. They were in Nashville. Someone forgot to "sync" the order supposedly. The store in Nashville was instructed to over night it to the store in NJ. Considering that it was late in that day and they were unable to get it posted that day, we expected the tuxes to come on Friday, one day before the event. On Friday the NJ store informed us that the tuxes were still in Nashville. Despite repeated complaints, Jos. A. Bank has offered no discounts or credits - only lame apologies. The district manager just told us he was aware of the problem. If the tuxes don't fit, there is no opportunity to change anything. I would never recommend Jos. A. Bank or purchase from them again! Find someone else for your tux rentals!

Did the tuxes make it on time? You can let Jos. A. Bank know that you've posted a complaint about this by dropping them an e-mail at service@jos-a-bank.com

Having the exact same problem with them! After an hour in the store, three employees trying to figure out the computer, and $175 (I believe) for two kids tuxes, they were shipped to the wrong location. Leaving no time for adjustments. Morons!!!!

Son's wedding. Went to have grandson fitted for his wedding clothes. No record in system. Manager took measurements while on the phone with store where registry originated. I was told his outfit would be $60. Supposedly "half price". Son goes to pick up his and ringbearer outfit.
NO clothes for ringbearer. And no record of measurement. Had to be overnight shipped and my daughter in law had to take a half day off work get the kid out of school to drive an hour and a half to try outfit on to make sure it fit! Go to check out and we are charged $20 more than quoted.
