Qwest Complaint - Qwest Needs to Be Sued..
TUCSON, ARIZONA -- Last month i decided to sign up for qwest dsl, at their 19.99/month for 12 months promotion. Today i received my first bill, and it charged me 45.99 for DSL. I immediately called and complained. I was told that the promotion called for dsl to be billed at full price for the first month, and then the promotion would be kicked in. I was in no way informed of this prior to signing up. The Supervison stated that it was in the "fine print" I went back and read the fine print and said, no, it wasnt stated. The supervisor then stated it was part of the "incremental charges" and that I should have called them to have it explained to me before signing up. I cannot believe that it can be legal to do that, it clearly defrauds customers and is very dishonest.
