Verizion Wireless - $30.00 Grade Charge for Non Upgrading
Cell Phone - Complaint
BATESBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA -- My husband lost his cell phone after upgrading his service last month. Called today to see if it would be possible to get his new phone replaced. Verizon was willing to replace the phone he lost. However, they will be charging a 30.00 upgrade fee plus the charge of 249.99 the full cost of the phone. My point is he was not upgrading, he was doing a replacement. Therefore, I feel the charge was not fair. Verizon Wireless is getting to where no one wants to do business with this company. I can see where Verizon will be losing a lot of customers in the future.
Verizon just called me back and are now willing to waive the 30.00 upgrade fee. If they can do it, then why are they charging it......
