Best Buy - Dell Computer Fiasco\ Geek Fraud
Dell All in One Insprion - Complaint
BRAINTREE, MASSACHUSETTS -- On Jan 2,2012 I purchased a brand new Dell all in one computer along with the black tie protection, two year service plan and cost to transfer pics, docs and music from my old computer onto the new one. After a week of waiting for the work to be done I got the new computer home and found that they charged me $100 to transfer and never did the work. I ended up doing the work myself and requested a refund - this of course did not happen. After using my new computer for two months the audio and video died. After numerous calls to the store manager\Geek Squad manager they kept giving me the run around try this, try this which never works. I called Best Buy headquarters and contacted the head of consumer complaints who finally helped me to get a new computer after four months of agony. Best Buy refused to give me a refund and basically the $1,100.00 I spent was a big ripoff. How soon will it be before this new computer breaks down and I have to spend hours trying to get someone to fix this one correctly. My advice is to run far and fast away from the Braintree MA store and never ever get involved with Geek Squad or as I call them "Geek Fraud".
