Sprint - Cell Phone Contract Rip Off
ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA -- I am a 63 year old grandmother raising her 9 year old grandson. The customer service representative at Sprint stated my contract was up for two cell phones. So I looked around and walked into a Sprint store on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater Florida and the sales representative did not want to be bothered, however, he did tell me that if I bought 2 smart phones that my phone bill for both phones with unlimited data, text and 1500 shared minutes with cell to cell being free would be $129.00. He told me to go home and order them on line.
Needless to say no one explained all the hidden charges, I paid Almost $300 for both phones and then they send me a bill for $284.00 because no one would take the time to explain any hidden charges nor did they tell me that I could not disconnect the data and just go to cell and text because it was a smart phone. I have complained to the FCC, FTC, the Board of Directors of Sprint and I have not got anywhere. Someone please help! I have a grandson to raise and I work full time and I have to pay before and after school program and summer camp is $115 a week. Is anyone out there listening?
