TEXAS -- I used to be a faithful customer. I have an account there. No more!!! I love sales and coupons. Their everyday low prices are no such a bargain. The last straw was the advertising I received in my mail with lesbians in it. I will no longer partronize their store.

Personally, if I received an ad with gays, male or female on it, I'd see that store at progressive and moving forward. Everyone is different. I'm a stockholder of JCP, so I am doubly interested to hear that this may be have been their advertising campaign.

It's an assumption that these women are lesbians. They could be good friends, as in platonic, or sisters.

2inform> Actually, I don't think it's much on an assumption. The ad clearly refers to them as "partners". Nevertheless, I find nothing wrong with the advertising. Then again, I couldn't care less. I'm the type of person that buys clothes because they fit, are good quality, and fairly inexpensive. The same goes with food. I don't care who endorses a product or who profits from my purchase. I'm not really into all that ulterior motives and hidden political agendas. The same goes with my wife and her love of shopping at JC Penny's. We don't care who their spokesperson is. That doesn't influence our decision on where we shop.

The "White Owl" hairdo sported by the one on the left pretty much tells the story. Either that or she's just an over 60 Canadian lady.
