HTC EVO - Complaint
HAMMOND, INDIANA -- While I love my phone, I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with SPRINT, my cellular company. Why? Because I have not had any data access on my phone for days now. So after going through all the tech support crap, which I had already done on my own, but I humored them, I get switched to a supervisor and I get to find out supposedly they are updating towers in my area and there will be intermittent outages. I'm sorry I don't call 4 days with no service intermittent. Then she proceeds to tell me they will have the issue fixed by July 28th......WHAT????? July 28th...really?????
So I ask.... well they are discounting our bills then right, I mean after all we pay for services they can obviously NOT provide. She tells me that discounts to our bills will take place after the outages are finished. So let me get this straight, I have to pay you for services for the next few months, which you can not provide and I won't get a refund until I call and complain after the outage is over? Sprint is a joke of a company. So I asked about leaving my contract, and they really had the audacity to tell me I would have to pay the $250 fee to get out of my contract event though by not providing my services I pay for they are breaching it. I can't wait for November when my contract ends, so I can get out of Sprint. I was with Nextel and got suckered into Sprint with the take over, biggest mistake ever. Sprint is the worst company.
