Walmarts - Food Prducts Specials Not Entered in Register
Fruits and Vegtables - Complaint
SECAUCUS, NEW JERSEY -- On April 19th 2012, I elected to buy one bell pepper which was on special in the big bins as you enter the store for 68 cents. My husband went to the check out and I reminded him that the pepper was/should cost 68 cents but he neglected to watch what was put into the register. When I was in the store I checked the receipt and saw that the amount charged was 78 cents. I was still not finished with the groceries so I asked for a refund of the diffenence and was told I have to take it to returns.
This meant walking to another part of the store and waiting on line to have my adjustment made, which it was. All this takes time and also frustration on my part. At returns people are bringing all kinds of merchandise and I had to wait on line.
I do not understand when there is a item special, that it is not in the cash registers. All the other groceries stores that I go to do have specials registered in their cash registers.
This is not the first time that this has happened and even though I have mentioned it to the managers, returns staff and cashiers, nothing has been done which is why I do not like to food shop at this store in Secaucus, NJ.
Thank you for your attention.
