Hardees Informative - Alexandria Hardees is a disgrace!
ALEXANDRIA, MINNESOTA -- I am a former employee of the Alexandria Hardees, which has to be the most horrible place to ever work at. For starters, they are not picky at all about whom they hire. Currently working there is a former Lookers employee, Nikki, who flirts with the customers, but she may be out right now due to maternity leave. Besides flirting, Nikki also gives out free food to her friends and even once abandoned a shift because her boyfriend walked in beat up from a fight. Laura, another manager, just sits back in the office eating and talking on her cell phone all day instead of actually working. Once, when an employee went up to get Christmas decorations, he had the misfortune of stepping on a soft part in the floor and fell through the ceiling. All Laura did was stare at him and, afterwards, only had "He almost fell on me!" to say. He no longer works there, but a former employee, Brad Fuoss, should have been fired long ago, but since he was related to the manager, nothing he did mattered. Brad made lude comments and gestures to both employees and customers (male or female), but tape on a light bulb as "a joke" which almost started a fire, and doesn't care about hygiene at all. Once he sneezed into an ice bucket and still dumped it into the pop machine, despite my screaming at him. After I told Laura, she just shrugged and said "Well, just don't get pop from that machine. Things like that are pretty common, though; goodness knows when the people who make your sandwhiches last washed their hands. I wouldn't order a shake if I were you, either. The shake syrups are placed near a windown and are constantly crawling with ants, some venturing up the nozzles. Once, someone thought it would be funny to use the outside garbage as a restroom and two employees were forced to clean in it out. My reason for leaving was because of a former employee, Micheal Hildebrant, constant verbal abuse that was never delt with; he now works at Pizza Ranch. I even tried filing for a restraining order against his because he began showing up at my work, but the judge threw it out without hearing any testimony, saying it should have been delt with at work. There's a lot more things then this, but it's pretty much the worst of it. If you live in Alexandria, please boycott this store.
Edit: Because of a comment I recieved, I would like to stress that I WAS NOT FIRED. I walked out because of an employee's constant harassment. Everything in this review is true, and the events happened just as they were written.
