Smart Carpet - If You Have a Problem They Tell You Why It's You Fault.

NEW JERSEY -- I bought carpet for my daughters room, with the sales peron suggestion to save money, they seamed the carpet in the center of the room. I was told you'll never see it, it doesn't affect the wear of the carpet. My dog had an accident and I cleaned it with a little steam vacuumed from Target, ripped the seam. They told me it was my fault and charged me $200 for a patch. Now afraid to touch it, the patch is surprise is ripping up in the seam- just the same was as before but slower from vacuuming. (oh, I like to add my steam cleaner is gentle enough to clean my chennial sofa) my vacuumed is a little shark, very low power. So I call, to get a bunch of ,,,, from the manager. Fighting with me that I have to dry clean their carpet. So smart carpet stated- you can't get the product wet! Then fighting with me even after I said I didn't steam it, that I prob did. So now I am a lair? Then goes on to tell me my dog did it, he is prob tearing up the whole rug when I am not home! Then is going on they are not responsible for animal damage. I keep tring to express the fact I will pay to have the carpet proffesional dry cleaned but that doesn't have anything to do with the seam. Then he tells me, well, it's been a year and you already steamed it once!
So you can not get smart carpet wet. You can not clean it. And after a year, well your a lair and you did the damage. I guess I should have vacuumed my rug and it would still look new?
