We had a little problem with a very ill kitty on an old carpet. Let's just say that the cat is doing much better but the carpet was in need of some serious help.

I asked my vet for any suggestions on what would help remove the odors and stains from the carpet. They suggested OdoBan.

We got some from Home Depot (picked the lavender scent) and tried it out.

Oh my goodness what an improvement! The odor was gone with one treatment!

It didn't remove the stain totally, but all I had to do was wait for the OdoBan to dry completely and then use a stain remover.

The scent was a bit strong, also, at first, but it faded to a more enjoyable level very quickly.

This can be bought at most any hardware store for about $10.00 a gallon and can be used in most cleaning machines. It also comes in Lavender, Citrus, Eucalyptus and Cucumber Melon scents.

I will have to try this. My dog pees on the carpet at least once a month. Good review!

I would test the product in an inconspicuous area like a closet or under a stairs to make sure it doesn't discolor the carpeting first.
