Ashley Furniture - Horrible Service
Delivery and Damaged goods - Complaint
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I recently purchased an entertainment set from Ashley Furniture. It was scheduled for delivery for a 3 hr window and they didn't show up until 4.5 hrs after the scheduled delivery window time. When I called customer service to find out why my piece hadn't been delivered during window, they kept telling me the driver was on his way with my delivery for 4.5 hrs and were not helpful at all or willing to work with me. When my furniture finally arrived, it was damaged and they couldn't put it all together and had to order another piece.
Their option to fix the problem was to order a piece that would take 10 business days to arrive at my house and then I was to call them when it arrived to schedule a time for them to come out and put the piece together and that would take about 5-7 days to have someone come out. So for their error, I am suppose to wait another 2.5 to 3 weeks to have a problem fixed and they don't care about it. They don't care about their customers satisfaction or time. The customer service department is not able to help nor do they care about their customers in any way.
