ST PETE BEACH, WASHINGTON -- Foxxsales sent me a defective remote. I know this because I have had experience with these remotes. This particular one did not have the ability to correctly give commands to the TV. For example instead of channel 60 it would only go to channel 6. Also the learning function of the remote does not work. I updated the firmware as well as the software with no results. Just 3 plus hours of wasted time. They charged me 15% to take back this broken product that they sold me. What a waste of time and of course my money.

According to the Foxxsales.net website (under 'Terms of Use'-'Restocking Fee'), "All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless the item is defective." If your remote was defective (and it sounds like it was) they should have offered you a new replacement. Did they give you a reason as to why they didn't?

No, they did not offer an exchange at all. They gave me a Return authorization number via email and this was it. They responded to me via email and did not give me the option to exchange it.
I had to go through my credit card company to dispute the charges. Ultimately the credit card resolved this for me, the company just kept defending themselves.
