CINCINNATI, OHIO -- I just wanted to warn everyone about Cupid.com. They are a fraudulent online dating company. They seem like all of the others until you try to cancel your subscription. The first warning should have been the fact that you cannot complete your cancellation online. They make you call a phone number that is not toll-free. Then when you call the number, the operator aggressively harassed me about not cancelling and just giving them more time. When I kept saying, no please just cancel my membership, I was told that they would cancel my membership, but that it would just stay active for the rest of my membership period. This should have been my second warning. Then last week I realized that they had charge me again for another subscription period. And to add insult to injury, the company is apparently in England, so I was charged for an overseas transaction. Do not use this company, and tell everyone one who is thinking about it to avoid them at all costs.

If they are charging your credit card you might consider challenging the charge.
