Lowe's - Predatory billing practices
KENAI, ALASKA -- I opened a Lowe's account for the convenience of purchasing a new refrigerator on sale. I had no complaints until my first bill was received showing a past due amount! In the meantime, Lowe's corporate decided to close its store in my small town (not even notifying it's employees the day before closure). The nearest store is now over 160 miles away and their automated voice system makes it impossible to file a complaint.
I paid my bill in full and on time and have now received notice of a past due amount, despite having a zero balance the previous month.
What is going on here?
