Whirlpool "Gold" Refrigerator
New Refrigerator Fails to Cool After Just 30 Days Old
MONTREAL, CALIFORNIA -- Whirlpool has forgotten the meaning of QA (Quality Control). When calling Whirlpool to service our totaly new refrigerator (for $1,600) Whirlpool "Gold" Model GX2SHBXVY06 we were told in a candid tone that it was normal for Whirlpool appliances to fail as 1% of all manufacturing units were expected to be defective. This means that when they manufacture 100,000 units, they expect 10,000 units to be defective ... wow ... these are "lemons" ...
The advice for the wise consumer is to stay away from any Whirpool product and any other makes they manufacture like Maytag and Kitchen Aid.
Check the web site prior to purchasing any appliance and stay away from Whirlpool trademark.
Good luck with you Whirlpool units !!!
