VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON -- We were attending a horse show at Clark county events center in Vancouver WA. This motel was recommended by the show and the events center. We arrived around 11pm to find that the only room left to us was the noiseyest room in the place. We had to join choiceprivileges rewards program to get up graded to a quiet room. No problem. We get to our room and it smells musty. Signs of mildew on the walls. We opened the windows and went to bed. We got up early and left for the show. We started finding fleas on our 4lb dog on the way. I use a monthly flea removal product on my dog so she didn't have fleas to start with. As the weekend went on, we were getting flea bites. When we left I mentioned the fleas in the room they said uhum when I mentioned they needed to spray for bugs. We had to pay $10 a night pet fee so our dog and us could get fleas .... thanks a lot! And they didn't even offer to make it right by us.

Looking at it from their point of view, it would be awfully tough to prove exactly when your dog contracted fleas. It could've happened anywhere along the way.
