Yes, old_fart. I saw it tonight. Same trash we've come to expect from Geico. So poor even a caveman wouldn't even use them.

Geico should face it, without Flo they are shooting blanks at a barren womb.

Trying to make sense of this ad is about the same as trying to make sense of my shrimpy friend's musings at whackos.com.

I don't like those commercials...but I think they are just saying if insurance was a tangible thing, it would beat it's competitors.

As far as Progressive insurance, I'd never consider getting it. I'll take Flo though.

It is their way of saying that it is impossible to know how good their insurance is without trying it. In a way it is also a knock on other insurance companies that claim "We are the best."

Geico has to have the most annoying harassing commercials. These people never let up, I see there adds 30 times a day. Then they bombard me with their junk mail. "WHEEEE," the stupid pig on a skateboard. Give me a break. Their advertising costs have to be in the millions. I would NEVER but their product. Once they suck you in as a customer good luck filing a claim with them. They will look for every excuse to deny it.

Basher interpreted the ad the way I did, and like all their ads I agree with Steve. They must feel that their target audience will remember the name when they go looking for insurance.

Personally, I find the ads an offense to my intelligence, and would go out of my way to avoid the company *if* I shopped for insurance that way. But I would not.

The pig on the skateboard I actually found cute, as he interacted with the guy he was next to. Put that pig in the SUV where he began, and he was extremely annoying. As Steve says, I remember the ads. In my case, that doesn't favor the company. But there must be a percentage of people that would react positively.

I dont care if I like the commercial or not. Theres nothing I can do about it, except to ignore it. During commercial breaks, I would be surfing the world wide web.

I still prefer the old Geico commercials, like the animatronic Airedale that laughed his butt off at his master's insurance bill. I never did figure out how the made that huge coffee cup that was handled so easily.

One nice thing about these commercials is that they help me stay limber by grabbing the remote every time they come on. :-)
