Metro Factory Service - Two Year Old Maytag and They Cant fix.....
Maytag Epic Z - Complaint
LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK -- I called them about a month ago to repair a broken washer. They came checked it out, charged me for service and a parts order and said they'd come back when the part came in. The part came in and I had to wait several more days for a technician to come. When he arrived and installed the part ...low and behold... it was the wrong part. He then ordered the next part....charged me of course and told me to wait again for the arrival of the part. About a week passed and still no part. Finally after much complaining and calling, the part arrived and then you need to wait to get on the schedule again. The technician comes and you guessed it...the machine does not work.
The technician does not know what to do at this point. He promises to consult Maytag and call me later in the day. Well...no call that day...it was a Friday. No call Monday. I call them Tuesday and they insist they are going to have a conversation with Maytag and call me Wednesday. No call happens on Wednesday. So I call on Thursday. The individual answering says another part has been ordered but she does not know how much it is going to cost me or when it will arrive much less what part it is. She promises to call me tomorrow.... So I am still stuck in this terrible loop of bad customer service, bad follow through and a company that can't seem to fix a relatively new appliance. Very dissatisfied with them. There has been return of monies I have paid or any regard whatsoever for the time and inconvenience they have cost me. For your sake stay away from them.
