Dish Network - Bogus, hidden charges

I canceled my account with Dish network over two months ago; however, I have received three different charges in different amounts from Dish Network. I call everyday now trying to get something done, but I'm told they cannot send out a simple email and a confirmation number verifying once and for all my account is closed and they will not attempt to charge me anymore.
I've been sitting on hold with them now for 10 minutes while I'm typing this. I'm waiting to speak to a supervisor. I can tell all the employees are actually trained to not solve a problem. I have been LIED to by each and everyone of them telling me they will call back and reverse this 3RD CHARGE from my account. All of them come up with some stupid excuse. I was told a letter will be sent out to me by SNAIL MAIL but they don't have any idea when I'll receive it. I bet I never do. They don't want to use email or faxes and live in 2012 where problems can be solved QUICKLY!!
I have never been charged charges from any other cable or satellite company after returning the equipment. I could see being charged if someone didn't return it. I asked them several times to show me some paperwork where this was DISCLOSED I would have these charges upon cancellation, & they just never answer that one. I told them if this had been told to me from the start I would never have signed up with them in the first place. I don't believe many others would agree to this either. What ever you do, do not go with DISH, I've never been treated so unfairly. They had me as a good paying customer for four years and I don't deserve this & neither does anyone else. I hope they go out of business, they would deserve to. I would still be a customer if they had let me know of updated features, but I see they treat their current customers terribly and only let the new ones in on this secret.
