ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA -- I purchased a leather sofa from Macys. After only a few months the sofa started losing their cushion shape and it appeared that the leather was sagging in uneven areas and/or stretching. There was debris, dirt and or sand in between
the cushions.
Which by the way this debris is still coming up through the cushions.

This sofa was sold as "new" and a floor sample. It should have been labeled damaged and not new. However Macys in a very unprofessional way would not do anything regarding the damaged sofa. They stated "it is our policy". I wanted a professional leather expert come to my house and see damaged sofa. However, this did not happen, again stating "their policy". This is false advertising and mislabeling.

It sounds like this sofa was sold as both "new" and a "floor sample". If that is correct, my expectation would be it has some wear, hopefully not visible, from shoppers sitting on it, but it comes with a new warranty.

When you say that they said "it is our policy," what specifically was the issue? Why should it have been labelled damaged? Did it have the same visible appearance at the store as it does now?
