I print postage on www.usps.com and schedule a pick up by the post office.

Free and convenient.

I use them all the time when I sell online and have to send out packages. Even if I take it to the postoffice, I don't have to wait in line...I just set it on the counter and tell the worker, 'It's all stamped' and I leave...no, I'm not cutting in line because I was told by the workers before, that I didn't have to wait in line when the boxes were already stamped and to just walk up and and it to them. Other postoffices may be different, but they pretty much know I send alot of packages out, so they've been very about it. If there's only a few people in line, I'll wait in line...but during the holiday season, I'mma dropping those babies off and fleeing!

DB I do the same thing when things are stamped and ready to go. I recently dropped off two boxes to be returned to www.justfab.com I set them on the counter, told they worker they were ready to go and left. No waiting and no inconveniencing others or cutting in line.

I'm living in the past here...

I still use a regular old post office. It is in a small town, and there is usually only one person ahead of me, if that.

When they go from news reels to this newfangled thing called the tee-vee, it is going to rock my world. I also hear that horses won't be needed so much soon. What will they do then, stand around and watch us from their pastures?

LOL 8er...I use them only when I'm selling online or when I have serveral boxes and know the PO will be crowded. If it's just one box, I just wait in line, sometimes it's nice to actually TALK to the workers while you're package is being processed.

I like our little post office, too, Trmn8r. I know the people by name and they know me. If they had a cracker barrel and a seat I'd spend a good part of the day there.
