Wal-Mart Complaint - Very Rude Management
DES MOINES, IOWA -- I am writing this review in regards to the Walmart located in des moines, Iowa (really it is windsor heights, ia..A suburb). I went in a few nights ago to purchase beer. I went thru the self checkout, as I always do and the cashier, a young girl, came over and asked me for my id. She was the same cashier I had been to a few times before, yet this is the only time she asked me for it. I am almost 35 years old. I explained that I lost my purse a few weeks ago and had not gotten my new license yet, but I showed her a military id, which was an older id from when I was in the service during desert storm..Yet it did not have an exp. Date. She walked away and brought another manager back with her. This manager was so rude that she actually suggested that my id was not a genuine military id and that she had never seen one like that. She then asked if I was a volunteer and proceeded to read the back of my id, which states that it is for military active duty members and volunteers. She would not accept my id and called another manager over. I was so furious..She then continued on and on about the fact that it probably was not a real id...Can you imagine that? He asked me if it had expired..I said probably, but there was no exp date on it. He would not accept it.
I have never been insulted like that before. Not only was she rude, impolite and disrespectful, yet I then was not able to purchase my beer. People like her should be fired and learn to keep their mouths shut when they have no idea what they are talking about. I tend to go to Walmart today and file a complaint.....
