Verizon Wireless - RUDE Supervisor
Earlier this month we went to the US Virgins Islands and before we left we went in to a Verizon store and was told we would be receiving a text IF we would be roaming. We didn't receive that text until our 8th and final day there. When we received our bill, we had charges of $66.98 for roaming. I called (on 5/31 around 7:45 AM) and spoke with a nice Rep but she said all she could do was offer 35% off. Since I didn't feel we should pay for any of it, I asked to speak with a Supervisor. A very rude man named Dan came on the phone and said it was our and the stores fault (maybe we should not have taken the word of the stores representative We should have done more research). He went on to say the charges were valid but he can give us 25% off. I said the representative before said we could get 35% and he said "Well, that was her offer. You declined, so here is mine." I was shocked by his rude, condescending attitude. I was just trying to straighten out an obvious misunderstanding. I have had 1 or 2 issues with our bill before and called to straighten it out. NEVER have I had someone talk to me like I was an idiot. This is unacceptable behavior for any employee, ESPECIALLY a supervisor.
