LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- WHAT! We can't watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs when in LA!!! We can watch the NJ games on TV. It's like not watching the World Series.

NBC will never be allowed on any of my TV's or at work from this day on.

Sounds like the game was locally blacked out, since the Kings were playing. Blackouts suck, but all TV networks do it, not just NBC.

I looked this up (couldn't find a whole lot), but it looks like it's being aired on the NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus). Some homes may not have that channel as its not part of the basic cable programming.

It's funny, when I lived in LA for a few years, I rarely (if ever) heard them talk about hockey on the sports talk radio. I listened at least a few hours a day, and it was pretty much Lakers/Dodgers/USC. Even during hockey season, there would be no talk of the Kings, except maybe when they would do an update as to scores from the prior night.

I don't believe it's the network blocking them out, it's the organization ie nba, ncaa, hockey league etc. They want to fill up the local stadium.

Unless you have sports network you cannot watch the game. We are in CT and it is the same thing, Hockey is not on the local channels. It is a shame.

Ya its on NBC sports. And if you don't have a cabel box and on ly basic cabel you don't get it. Same thing all playoffs. Since the 2nd round started. Game 4 tonight a posabull Stanly cup win is not on there main sister network. People need to be fiered. I think this will be the first time since the mid 70s that its not caried by a majer network on prime time. Right on NBC sucks for f-ing up a good thing. Your imbarising to sports.
