DIRECT TV REPS: Do not keep accurate records
1 box and one remote control - Complaint
KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA -- Decided to keep at least one Direct TV Box in my home due to the service I received. After speaking with the Representative she mention, they did have a special package that consist of a price of $36.99. I informed the representative at that time that would be an excellent package for me to have for my parents room. First payment due was $73.81, so I didn't pay it, Second payment came through for $124.99. I still didn't pay it, finally I call after seeing there was no changes made on the account. I then spoke to a representative and explain my past call relations with the representative who made the proper changes, or at least I thought she did. Unfortunately the cancellation representative I got on the line, tried to scramble all of the information together to make it sound like all of the charges where accurate but they weren't. In fact after explaining to the representative that it's not my fault that the representative who took my call did apply the proper notes for future reps to read. I'm only calling in to correct an error that was made to my bill. After going around in circles with this representative I explain to her if your company took the time out to apply the proper notes on the account, then me as a consumer and their company wouldn't have any problems resolving such a minor problem. This company doesn't take the time out to train their employee's properly nor do they screen check each call or monitor each reps calls that comes in. I feel if you can't pull up a record of conversation exactly at that moment then your business is just like any other. Out to hook a fish with no regrets or regards to their concerns or money. I don't spend my hard earned money with companies that could careless about me as a consumer. I'd rather spend my money with a company who cares and wishes to correct and apologize for any misunderstanding. This representative was so rude she didn't even give out one apology nor, did she reiterate what I had said earlier in the conversation. Bad customer service leads too bad business who needs that headache not me, I'd rather not do business with a company like this at all. If I could score this company I would score them with a zero, for rude, customers service only! Everything else was great when it came too the quality of the picture and Technicians who installed my services.
