TUCSON, ARIZONA -- I came back to Thrify with a half a tank of gas they charged me for 8 gallons in a Ford Forcus and they charged me 102.56............WHAT THE HELL and I was sitting at the bar in the airport waiting for my flight and 2 other people were complaining about the same thing. THRIFTY.... is not Thrifty they are RIP OFFS!! DON'T ever rent from THRIFTY.

There is but one label for this: GREED!

ALWAYS fill the tank up before returning a rental car. Good reminder.

by purchasing the fuel option, if they offer one, saves time returning the vehicle. the fuel option price is often far cheaper than the charges for not a full tank.

There remains only one cost effective way to return a rental car - fill up the tank yourself.

I'd like to make so much money that I could literally burn it by returning a rental with a partially full tank.

the fuel option is a flat rate.

Yep, a flat rate for all the gas in the tank. Buying a full tank only makes sense if you want to deal with the stress of planning to drive back on fumes. Not my idea of fun. I'd rather set aside 5 minutes on my last trip and top it off.
