OAK HARBOR, WASHINGTON -- I live in the Pacific Northwest so incountering wet conditions is the normal around here. My newest shoes are extreemly comfortable and I do enjoy that, whenever I am in DRY conditions. My problem is with how fast these shoes exorb moisture when walking on wet grass or puddles. It doesn't take long and I am walking around in soggy wet shoes until I can dry them out. They can stay wed for days while drying them out. Stock number W02865 10EW 941269 Durashocks and Slip Resistant. How can a company who prides themselves in producing outdoor shoes produce this sponge of a slip on shoe. I'm 64 years old and I do have an expectation of how a shoe should perform.

I use a high-quality water repellant on all my outdoor shoes; the spray can cost me about $5 and water is a non-issue.

Interesting. My current walking shoe absorbs water very quickly as well, except it is actually a running shoe and has a webbing on top and sides that water pretty much flies right through.

I could not find that exact stock number, but found one that is one off at W02866. From its appearance, I would think it would have good to very good performance in wet conditions. Good complaint.
