PHILA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I JOINED THIS CO. BECAUSE OF GREAT PRICE,THE INDEPENDENCE PLAN 29.99 PLUS TAX. WHAT I GOT WAS NO FEATURES ON PHONE FOR 4 WEEKS, 5 INCOMPETENT PHONE REPS AND BILL OF 152.00 FOR 1 MONTH, 3DAYS OF SERVICE! I WAS CHARGED A DEPOSIT OF 39.45 NONRETURNABLE? NEVER HEARD OF SUCH LUNACY. NO ITEMIZATIONS OF NUMBERS CALLED ABOVE 1000 FREE MINUTE. HOW CAN YOU SHOW I MADE 54.00 WORTH OF XTRA CALLS AT 2.5 CENTS/MINUTE? THAT COMES TO OVER 2600 CALLS IN A MONTH. ONLY MY LONG DISTANCE WAS ITEMIZED.I AM NOT THE ONLY COMPLAINT. MY NEIGHBORS CANCELLED ALSO. EVEN THE GENTLEMAN AT MY BANK GAVE A BIG SIGH WHEN I MENTIONED YOUR COMPANY. ALSO, THE LAST REP LIED TO ME AND TOLD ME I COULD NOT CANCEL UNTIL I PAID UP,WHICH WAS NOT TRUE BECAUSE MY SERVICE WAS STOPPED WHEN I WENT BACK TO MCI. I HAVE ALREADY EMAILED CS.AT TALK.COM 2 WEEKS AGO WITH NO REPLY.

To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

AN ANSWER. I WANT AN ITEMIZED LIST OF ALL LOCAL AND TOLL CALLS I ALLEDGEDLY RACKED UP.
I WANT TO KNOW HOW THEY CAN CHARGE A DEPOSIT FOR SERVICE. I WANT AN ANSWER FROM SOMEONE HIGH UP. ACTUALLY, I AM LOOKING INTO A CONSUMER REPORTER TO CHECK THIS CO. OUT

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
