Sears Has by FAR the Worst Waranty Repair Service Known to Man

FLORIDA -- We purchased an AC unit about 6 years ago from Sears and every year since it was installed it breaks down during the hottest time of the year EVERY YEAR. I swear it's like clockwork. It's always the same problem (although according to Sears its never the same part broken) and the FASTEST they have evr gotten it fixed has benn a month. Usually it takes closer to a month and a half, and has even taken up to two months. Forget trying to follow up with them on the progress, no one seems to have an answer. They get very defensive when you ask to speak to a manager, and if their technician for your area calls out sick or misses the appointment, you get to start the whole process over again! I will NEVER AGAIN buy ANY appliance from Sears and would warn others to avoid them as well.
